There are many providers of legal services, but very few combine exceptional legal services with a fee structure that puts the clients’ needs first. Elizabeth Wylie founded Gateway Counsel with an eye toward what she saw as a need shared by many employers but underserved in the market—the need to have an employment attorney who understands the business operations, goals and culture of the client and provides high quality legal solutions without the overhead or hurdles of “big law.” Gateway Counsel provides this to its clients by offering an annual flat fee rate structure that includes up to 20 hours of legal consultation. The annual flat fee structure allows clients to more accurately predict legal expenses, obtain legal advice earlier and more often, and optimize opportunities for strategic compliance instead of conducting damage control.

Gateway Counsel also offers legal services for an hourly fee, which may be preferred by some clients and utilized by flat fee clients for services that are outside the scope of the flat fee rate structure.
